Would Federal HW be better with Full or XFull?

i see people and choke manf. say dont shoot the federal heavyweights through ported chokes... if your gonna shoot them through a factory flush choke, would you be better with a factory full or a factory xtra full?

Depends on the gun but try them both .

I received the best results in my 3" 11-87 with the factory x full. I get around 150 in a 10" at 40. with the FD HW that is plenty. That is with #7 shot.

2 different 3" guns both like .660 with fed hw 7s. Browning gold with Inv+ in Hastings .660 got 184; weatherby sa-08 with standard invector system got 160 with Carlson .660. I shot a Hastings .665 in browning gold and numbers dropped to 140.
