Benelli Nova 20 ga and ff3 question

I just purchased a 20 ga benelli nova and I have a burris ff3 I want to put on it,  I have the burris 336 mount also, I want to have it drilled and tapped for the 2 holes on that mount and use the 336 mount instead of using the  4 hole weaver base,  just looks cleaner and will be lighter , and will sit down on top of the receiver.  Will that be a problem with this gun,  just wanted to check and see if anyone else has did this I didn't want to mess up a new gun.  Thanks

I was wondering the same thing about an 870?  Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty sure it will work on both guns the 870 or the nova you just have to have 2 holes drilled and tapped for that mount.  The part number on that mount should be #410333  I believe,  anyone know for sure?

just had 3 gentlemen pm me about this question and all of them did just that and drilled and tapped for the 2 screws for the 336 mount, thanks for the info guys
