I have four dedicated turkey guns. A BPS, 12 gauge, 31/2", a NEF 10 gauge, and two Ithaca Model 37s. In 1984, I had one of the 37's modified by having the barrel cut to 25" and sleeved to .665 by Mark Bansner. The other Ithaca Model 37 is a King Ferry Turkeyslayer which sports worn Realtree Advantage camo and an IC .660 choke tube. The Turkeyslayer will put an average 206, H-13, 6's in 10", and 248, 7's in 10" in a polished barrel. The Ithaca Model 37 is IMO the greatest/lightest 12 gauge "Run and Gun" turkey gun ever made, and I would advise you to obtain one asap. PM me if you have any questions or want any info on 37's, I've got seven of them.
