i am wanting to get a 10 gauge what is a good  gun to get is a ithaca 10 a good one i can get my hands on a  ithaca 10 for about 450  or where  can get one at a good price

browning bps 10 for around 400-500, or an h&r nef 10 for around 225-250, those would be my first two choices

Ithaca is good , but to reach the full potential it would be best to get a 10 ga that has a widely used choke system -

bps or threaded H&R --NE have the same threads..and chokes are available some several of the quality choke makers like pure gold and Indian Creek..
