Sunday afternoon i was shooting my gun for a few test shots sighting on my ff2.  While it was turned off i noticed that i could still see a very faint dot..i was setting myself up and the gun on the sticks before shooting... but i cohld visibly see a very faint dot ...but it was plainly off.  Was this a reflection of the little diode on my screen or do i have a trickle of battery power leaking enough to "display" the dot faintly??

Some of you go grab your gun in a dark room...with the ff2 off...and tell me if you too can see a faint dot?

I even thought i may be seeing things and held the faint dot on my aiming point then turned the unit on...yup it was the dot.

Se of yall check this for me please

Hmm never heard or noticed that but will check when I get home. I would assume its the reflection. I could see it being a faulty switch and allowing a slight voltage to get thru

I sure hope nothing faulty cause season i a week away.  Im hoping its reflecting.  Check it out for me.  It should show up well in a dark room.  I will look at mine tomorrow again if i feel better

Fountain I checked in a dark and well lit room and could not see the dot. I bet you have a faulty switch allowing a slight trickle of voltage. If you look from the front to the diode do you see a slight glow? If so you are getting power

Let me know what you decide about this! I installed a FF II last week, and I thought I could see a faint dot when the power was off as well. I'm out of town until Sunday. I'll look at mine again when I get home.
