You have 3

1. Speedbead mount + FF3
2. FF3 with picatinny mount + picatinny base
3. FF3 + Marlin 336 base

Options 2 & 3 may required drilling and tapping of the receiver.

He meant options 2 and 3 might require drilling and tapping. Speed beads do not that im aware of ;D. I would go speed bead. Got one on my beretta al390. Will sit lower than the other 2 options and still you to use the bead if the sight ever fails for whatever reason

Ok let me get this straight, I can use a speed bead mount and I DO NOT have to drill/tap ? If using the SB mount does it stay zeroed in? Seems like it wouldn't be such a secured mount. Thanks for the responces guys

Correct. I've had it on there for over 2 years and never had a problem with the mount moving.

My mistake....... TS is correct.  You do NOT need to drill and tap with the SB option.  It's a solid mount.  You won't have any POI shift issues.
