Mossberg 510 mini 20 gauge

Just bought a mossberg 510 mini 20 for my boys to use.Anybody have any experience with these?Love the way it fits smaller kids and the add on butt pads so they can grow with it.Only thing that concerns me is the weight,at 5lbs seems like it might pack a little wallup.Only plan on shooting 2 3/4 shells in it this year and adding a limbsaver recoil pad.Any suggestions/opinions?

Take out the spacer, put on the factory pad section and then add the limbsaver or and equivalent slip on pad. Doubled up pads make a big difference in my Super Bantam 20. You'll need add on rifle sights or red dot.
