At the moment I have a jelly head choke and I bought some #7 federal heavyweights. I have read alot of stuff that says the shells do not work right in ported chokes anyone shoot this combo

Dont waste your time on that choke and those shells. Get something, that is non ported and dose not have wad catchers/strippers. What gun are you shooting the heavyweights out of?

I am getting excellent results in my 870 20 and heavyweights using the remington hevi shot approved super full choke. It was by far the cheapest of the chokes i tried and nothing has beat it sofar with these shells. I have yet to try the new haymaker choke that is designed for the shells with the flight control wads.
