Texas Hunt Leases -- Question
March 05, 2013, 08:51:54 PM
I may be moving to Houston. In my search for hunt clubs/leases I have seen most advertisements mention "no bow hunting, rifle only". Why is that? Why would someone care if you bow hunted if there is already a limit on the number of bucks and does?

Cover in lots of areas is super thick down there and its hard to track deer. They want kill shots right in the senderos.

I think a lot of gunhunters don't like the bowhunters getting a month head start since bow season is open a month before gun season.
