Coyote Stalks Turkey Hunter

I've called two in so far. Both in the fall season. The first one, I never got my gun up. The second one, my nephew took three shots.................no yote.

Freaky the way they stalk.
I called one in a few years ago using a doe bleat during muzzleloader. Even though he surprised me, I still got a shot off. Missed him, but was still cool.
I had another one come upon my setup during turkey season. I was only using lead, he was a ways out, and the distance was beyond my guns capabilities, so I passed.
I hate them as much as anyone, but I will never shoot at any animal that is beyond my ethical range.
I do believe I would have shot that one though.

My buddy had one stalk up on him last yr but he couldn't get a clear shot. The yr before i had a big bobcat sneak into my setup, n if it would've been in season he'd be at the taxidermist!
