Neoprene sleeves

I see people on here using them on their but stocks for cheek cushion. I cannot seem to find one. Could someone point me in the right direction.

Do you need to increase the height of your stock?

That's what they really are for, not for cushioning.

I'd say if you are getting cheek slap you need to weld your cheek to the gun, not add padding, but maybe a little more width will help that for you.

Bear Tooth Products (www.beartoothproducts.com) makes a comb raising kit that several OG members
use. They come in brown , black and some camo patterns.

They come with several thicknesses of foam pads to raise the comb height...the thinner ones are only about  1/4".  You can use any combination.

If you just want to cushion the cheek slap some the neoprene sleeve and a thin pad or two will help.
The foam pads are dense enough to sand on a belt sander to shape/taper to fit your stock. I glued two pads together with a contact cement type adhesive befor shaping. This helps the sleeve fit tighter to the stock and looks better.

I made mine and the extra pads from the sleeve of an old wetsuit that I bought at a dive shop for $10.00. I was using them to raise the comb height for a better angle on a red-dot site.

Check out my 0l Mossy.... I don't think this looks bad.. Some might say different. I had used a piece of foam pipe insulation cut,trimmed,shaped. Then camo taped and velcroed to the stock. It helps me anchor better and avoids the slap. Total cost: cheap,real cheap.
