Reflex Sight Manufacturer

I'm looking into getting a reflex sight in the $100 range.
It seems that alot of the sights are made by the same manufacturer because the body style, screw placement, lens containment, and adjustments are very similar if not exact from one brand to the next.

Truglo. NC Star. Mueller. BSA all seem to be the same style, but are rated and warrantied differently.
Has anyone done to the legwork to find who actually is the manufacturer, and what the better scopes of the bunch are?
The Mueller is the only one that clearly states it will take the abuse of heavy magnum shotguns and rifles.

In that price range, the only one I have any experience with is the Mueller.
Very good sight, well built and rugged. Worth the money. Lots of guys run with them on their turkey rigs here with excellent results.
If you go with one, I think you will be pleased.

Fact is these common frame less expensive sights are made in China.  All the companies just put their names on them.  Not that that is necessarily bad.  Some of the best made flashlights are made in China.  Some of the worst ones too.  If the low cost sights are the way your going, research people's experiences and buy a brand you recognize and will stand by their warranty.

Well, I'm no longer in the market.
My brother just called me and said he ordered me a Burris FFIII with the custom style mount for my old school 870! The one that sits between the stock and receiver. Should be here in a couple of days.
He just got one for his SBEII and says it's the bomb.
What a guy, not sure what I did to deserve this one......LOL
