The Road Hen

I just got this call from my friend Chuck Anderson. I named her Red, the Road Hen. She is Redheart over Poplar with checkering on the lid and woodburning on both sides. I now own about 60 long boxes and several from Chuck but this has to be one of the finest sounding long boxes I have ever picked up.

I have her older sister that I named Lucy and she is one sexy looking and sounding beauty!! She does not have wood burning, but the box has some mineralization that is almost black to highlight the blond poplar. Click on last two pics for sound clips.
Here are a couple pics and a couple sound bites for anyone who would like to hear what it sounds like.

Chuck does make an excellent longbox. He did a great job on that one.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.
