Saw some gobblers in strut today!!

Had to drive to Sioux City, Iowa, for a meeting today.  Twice on the outskirts of town I saw gobblers in full strut!
Once it looked like 4-5 gobblers were together, with one bird in strut, and the other time one bird was in strut among a flock of 20 or so birds.
Seems a little early up here?
