"Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:10).
Jesus promised to be with us always, but His presence doesn't prevent us from developing our own individual potential. Jesus is with us to weep with us and to laugh with us. He is with us to hear our confession of sins and to shower us with His forgiveness. He is with us in time of ease and times of stress to calm our fears, to encourage us to overcome our weaknesses, and to fill us with His love. He is with us to guide and protect us, to caution, heal, and save us. He is with us to take away our sin and to give us His innocence, blessedness, and peace!
Jesus is with us at the beginning of this new year. He has graciously been our Immanuel from the beginning. Let His holy name sustain us to the end!
