Newbie box call help

Hey guys,

I am brand new to gobbler hunting and only have one season under my belt. I just bought a box call
A few days ago to practice for the spring season. I purchased a primos wet box call. It sounded great pit of the package but after 1 hour of use both sides of the box do not make any sounds when sliding the paddle over it. I did touch the paddle and the box with my hand. Will
Chalk fix it or do I need a new call ?

[Spring Creek Calls]

The wet box is a chalkless call, so I don't believe chalk will help. Their ads say the coating they apply is good for years of service. You may want to give Primos customer service a call.
