Im wanting to do a special double sided Bocote for my personal hunting call has anyone ever trief a double sided copper amd aluminum or will it have to much of a metallic sound

It might?  If you try it I would put the copper over alum.

I believe you can acomplish this, copper over aluminum, to help eliviate the metalic sound, work with the distance of space between your primary and secondary surfaces, the closer the more metalic you get.
