speckled trout trip 6-29-12

We made a trip Friday AM and ended up with 65 solid trout with 3 of us fishing. We more than likely coulda caught 10 more to finish the limit but the ice chest didn't have anymore room and we got tired of fighting the sharks for the trout !

That's a seriously good mess of speckled sea trout! 

We only caught a couple last week on gulp grubs.  What were you using for bait?

We used live shrimp about 5ft under a popping cork. They were biting good enough that we probably could have caught them on plastics.
