Good Hunting Shows

The actual best hunting show on tv in my opinion is relentless pursuit. Tim Wells is a straight killer. Very little editing. Very little sponsor boasting and dude can kill anything there is and is passionate about it. Just watched an episode with him wolf hunting. He stayed in his blind all throughout the night with wolfs around him at 2 and 3am. Self filmed hunt and he finally connected on day 7. Awesome show for those who have not seen it. He is the last person I would want to have to go up against in the woods

I've got one of Tim's first DVD's.....he's flat out nasty. I consider him one of the best, in that DVD there is no sponsorship selling its straight stalking up on animals that will kill you. It's the one where he shoots the grizzly standing at 40 yards between the eyes with his bow and folds him,The cat has a set that's for sure.

From an archery standpoint it is very difficult to take a turkey let alone without a blind. Also I like the footage of a big ol' tom beating up the decoys or trying to mate a plastic hen. In my opinion its not that hard to plop down next to a tree and hope a turkey walks by, that makes for very boring TV.

I enjoy reading about all of the hunts you guys share here way more than any show on tv. If Col. Kelly would tell a story for a half hour every week it would be the best by a large margin. I could listen to him all day.

Speaking of listening...another thing that annoys me is when they play music during a hunt.  It's the little sounds like drumming, whining, wing dragging, and such that actually puts me in the hunter's seat.
