May I suggest "Robert Hitt Neil" .   If you like Mr. Kelly YOu might like his books as well.    "The flaming turkey",  "The Jakes"
are some good ones.

The Season is one of my favorites.

Better on a Rising Tide was my first Tom Kelly purchase and remains my favorite.  I have every book he's written, all of them autographed, and consider myself a member of the Tenth LEgion, SW MO Division.  If you have ever taken one of your children hunting, you owe it to yourself to read Better on a Rising Tide.  If you've raised a daughter who's a turkey killing machine, who is a bit headstong, and who you've married off... as I have...you MUST read "Tide."
