Seems like a while back I saw a thread about collectors of old shotgun shells.  I was going through some old stuff and found a coffee can full of old paper shells....mostly 12's, and a couple of 20's and .410's.  They were given to me years ago and I think they are probably fifty or more years old, although I am not certain of that.

Anyway, if anybody here knows someone who collects that kind of stuff or knows anything about what they are worth, please let me know.

No expert at all, but I'm thinking all the rolled crimp shells, with the possible exception of the .410's, are over 50 years old. I started quail hunting with my Dad, actually carrying a gun, in 1961, and I'm reasonably sure all the shells we bought then, except for the .410, had already switched over to star crimps. I think the .410's were still roll crimped probably into the early 70's.

nice, but I don't see a pic of a 9mm shotgun shell.  I shoot a 28g a myself.
