Well its over here....

Well guys.. Its over. I tried to upgrade my bird but I just couldn't get it done. I've hunted every weekend and at least one day a week  every week this season and its just been out right tough on me. In a way I'm glad its over but man I can still hear those birds gobbling in my mind every morning when I wake up! I'm thankful the Good Lord let me put at least one on the board for our team. I really enjoyed being on the  team this year and I hope you guys will have me back next year even though I only could put one on the board. Hope you guys where the season is still open have some luck!

Glad you got a couple this season and a good one on the board.  I was blessed with a great season but have had the bads ones to know how lucky I was this year.  As far as I am concerned, "Once a Spur Collector, always a Spur Collector!"

It's good to know I'm not the only one that hears gobbles in my head. This year was tough for a lot of folks. That many more for next season. I know I left plenty.

The withdrawls are starting to ease for me.  I am still gobbling when I hear a crow sound off, my wife hates when that happens in public.  I am still thinking about getting out there but it is easing off.  Come November the fever will set in and by December I will be broke out in full sweat.
