If he is really bothering you, you can package him up and send him up here to me. I haven't heard one in years and would enjoy him out my window.

Please leave return address incase I change my mind!
There are two types of hunters; normal hunters and turkey hunters.

I love to hear them in the distance. It's different 15' away from your ear hours on end.  Believe me!

I got to close to a nest one morning while turkey hunting...two of them suckers dive bombed me until I left...I had never seen one either so had no idea what was swooping down at me in the dark as I walked down the trail...them suckers got pretty close too...

Probably 15 years ago, we used to have a woodpecker who would sit on a metal MPH sign on our road right across from the house and bang away at the crack of dawn every stinking morning.   He had hit that thing for so long and so hard the corner was actually bent back.  He must have been mentally chanllenged or something.  Stupid thing.

Hey David

Chaz Bono did a dance on dancing with the stars & it was called THE WHIPPORWILL. I'm pretty sure if you call him / her you could get your problem solved.

Good Luck & Sleep Tight !     :funnyturkey:

We had a woodpecker decide to start hammering on our aluminum drain gutter at daybreak every morning.  I wound up having to encourage him to stop.
