Colored latex

I'm new to diaphragm call making am getting ready to put an order in for supplies, My question to everyone is do the diffrent colored latexes produce different sounds at the same thickness?

Eric,

  They absolutely do.  I don't know why, but I suggest ordering a pack of each color.

They also seem to last longer and are tougher. I may be wrong but it seems that way to me, and when I use a mouth call I hammer them plus I walk with one in my mouth all the time. Same thickness green or dark gray will out last the clear.
