Me and two other veterans were blessed and got to leave Louisiana and go to South Dakota to Chase Merriam birds.  We filled our tags and fell in love with another area if this great country.

Thanks gang.  It was an awesome trip to say the least.  The guide treated us like royalty and we were able to leave the world behind for a while.  I don't want to leave this beautiful country.  It was a dream come true.  The trip was a blessing and the best part was that I got to watch our brother kill one from his chair from a hilltop above them.  It still is surreal to me that people would give such a thing to a bunch of ole boys like us.
