Truglo Red Dot Multi Redical Sight

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had one fail on my 535 while pattern testing. Thank god it happened when shooting paper. The retical was pointed on the rib about half way down the barrel after shooting a 2oz load. and would not move up or down. With that happening I can't trust putting it back on the gun after it is fix. Won't take the chance of it failing in the woods.

was this the open red dot or the red dot tube scope? The reason I ask...I've had a tru glo open redot on one of my 835's this season with no issues at all. It's probably taken 2 doz. shots with win xtended 3.5" and hevi 2 1/4 oz 3.5" shells this years. I like it as good or better than the mueller on my other 835. truglo has a lifetime warranty and will take care of you. I've had numerous scopes on this 835 including simmons prodiamond, burris red dot and FF2 and this open red dot has proved the best on this setup

not knocking anything. I love my ff2 on the other gun but this open dot seems to be the perfect size dot and the height fits my tactical stock perfectly. it does have a little more glare and doesnt have auto brightness but for the price i gave, it exceeded my expectations greatly
