So I've been putting it off for a few days, but today I finally washed my turkey hunting camo, cleaned the mud off my Benelli, and am now going through my turkey vest taking out calls and other essentials and putting them away for another year  :(. I had a great season, tagged out on two nice Missouri birds and almost succeeded in getting my girl her first bird, but its still kinda depressing when the season ends. Good thing I have a new rod and reel to go try out, that might keep me occupied for a bit. With all the jakes I saw this year, 2013 should be a great season  :you_rock: and some more heads will roll  :OGturkeyhead:

I know what you mean, I put my stuff away last weekend after filling both my Iowa tags.
I've got lots of canoeing and camping planned for the summer, and a family trip planned to the Black Hills.  I'm busy hunting for 4 months during the fall/winter.  However, nothing is like turkey hunting.

Yep, I'm at the stage of waiting a few days to put it all up.  I learned a long time ago that the best way for me to do it is to put clothes, calls, all turkey gear into a plastic laundry basket and put it in a blanket chest.  Next season, the clothes come out and the basket goes into the truck.
The only things I carry to the truck the next opening day after putting the basket in the truck are my thermos and gun.  This minimizes tracking gear down 10 months from now.
