Is the glass sold for call making just regular glass?

I know more about glass than most,  but I don't know squat about making calls. While looking for a new pot call, I noticed the mention of bronzed glass. While digging around for more info, I read that "bronzed" meant tempered. Well, that doesn't make sense to a glass guy.

Is the bronzed glass tinted? When it breaks does it shatter into small pieces or just crack?

Stumpy is the go to guy.  I can answer that the bronze glass is tinted not tempered.  I have broken a piece or two and it breaks like regular window glass rather than shattering like tempered glass.
