Warbird FF guard...

Does anyone that has the Warbird guard also use the plastic cover that comes with their FF sight?  I was just curious as to should I just have the sight on the gun uncovered with the guard or put the little cover on there....My first go with the FF and I did not want to screw it up.

When I'm not in the field, I keep the plastic cover on the FF.  When I take it out of the case, off comes the plastic cover.  I store it with the cover on to keep dust off the lens.

Yes, I use the cover.  Fits fine.

My cover fits but I store them in a safe so dust is not an issue.
