Mother Lode turkey calls knocked another gobbler in the head today. Joey ended his season today with his 3rd gobbler of the CA season. This is gobbler 41 for a 23 y o boy. Not bad for a knuckle head. We double teamed this gobbler and he didn't know what hit him. He had a buddy with him and if I would have been with Joey I would have ended my season. It was a great hunt and we were into turkeys from daylight until we left. We also found a turkey egg that was not quite developed.

3 year old
10 1/4" beard
1 1/8" spurs
18 1/2 lbs

Awesome job guys !!!   Mr. Joe, I got to use one of your mouth calls the last part of our season here in Alabama ( Basser69 hooked me up ). I make boxes and like to use my own stuff but your call surely assisted in my last bird. It sounded great and was easy to use. The clucks sound so realistic. I'll be in touch with you before next season. Thanks Steve

Congratr to Joey and Motherlode calls!

That is awesome.  I lived out in Cali for 6 years or so and for some reason, I never hunted turkeys.  Wish I would have found some forums when I lived out there.  Its nice to see the spring green and a dead bird.
