Hunting is not a priority in life... never should be! it's a luxury to hunt.. good for you for working ahrd and taking care of the more important things in life..

Good luck... i'm pretty new to it too, and it takes years before you become proficient

Life is about choices and people's conditions are a direct reflection of those choices.

You can bet that hunting is a priority in some people's lives.  It may be a recreation for you but it's a lifestyle and ranks as the most imperative priority for some.

Frequent success in the woods is a DIRECT reflection of where hunting lies in your agenda of priorities.

If you ain't killing you have no one to blame but yourself.

Preach it Brotha! :agreed: To many, myself included, hunting is NOT a priority. No, it is much more than that. It is a lifestyle I choose to live, and I wouldn't change if I could. I get the feeling that people who do not feel that way will never understand just how important hunting is to some of us.

Well if I hadent been building on my house literally 24/7 the bank would have taken my home....

I do think there might be a roosing tree nearby as well, But Ill keep the brush / rock pile thing in mind, as I agree i would be stranded.

As much as I love hunting, my family and job are more important and sometimes between those two things I don't get a lot of extra time to hunt. I would much rather hunt than go to work or when the kids are driving me crazy but you gotta do what you gotta do! I'm somewhat new to turkey hunting so I don't have a lot of advice for you - I actually learned a few things from this thread. I hunt the field quite a bit and I'm going to start hunting the woods more...I like that more anyway.
