Well tomarrow is may 1. Finally. Good luck to all of you who have a may opener. Unfortunetly I won't be out because I travel to my turkey camp so I take a week off. I chose next week so I have both weekends also giving Me 9 days in a row. This years Tuesday opener would have cost me 3 days hunting so I chose to wait. Anyway good luck to all.

Finally.  My dad and I will be out first thing in the morning.  We have only spotted one Tom on our land, and that was last night.  He was with 7 hens, so we will have some competition.  We have seen about 8 toms on some private land near state land.  We have some birds to hunt, hopefully a couple will cooperate.

Good luck to all. I did a little scouting at daybreak on Sunday and was able to locate 5 different gobblers.

I have 3 bigs boys that have been traveling through my dads property, one with a double beard. It is interesting that there have not been many hens. There are at least 4 gobblers on some other private that I hunt too. I can't wait for the season to begin and the weather looks pretty decent too. My goals this year are get my dad his first gobbler and get one with my bow....Good Luck ALL
