My best ever pattern with 3" Win Sup HV 1.75 Oz. #5 Lead was 131 in 10" at 40 Yards using an Indian Creek .665 SS BDS choke in my 28" INV+ BPS. I can't duplicate that number using the same choke in my 28" 870.
131 #5's makes me wonder if I'll ever buy any more HTL. Although, I still own a couple of double-handfuls of the expensive shells. And I've also experimented with some Lead Blend shells of my own.
