Just started patterning my Browning Maxus 26" 3.5"

Just fired the first few shots out of my brand new Browning Maxus.  It has a 26" Barrel.  From some of the posts that I read on here I put on a .670 Primos Jellyhead.  I was using 3.5" Winchester Supreme Elite Extended Range #5 2oz shells.  I am just looking for a good turkey killing pattern at 40 yds.  I only had 60 shots in a 10" circle.  I was hoping for 100+, but I am under the impression that 200+ hits in the 10" circle at 40 yds may be a little too tight for me.  I also put the Browning XtraFull choke tube that came with the gun in and got virtually the same results.  Any suggestions on where I should go from here?  Different choke?  Different shells?

Try the 6s.  Not sure on choke for fives, but may want to try tighter.

You will get more responses if you post this in the turkey gun section.  This section is for pattern pictures.

Personally, I'd try #6 shot in the winchester ER or switch to hevi #6 or #7

That doesn't sound normal. You should get more than 60 with no choke in the barrel. I would try #6 shot.

I shot some Federal #5's out of my Maxus with a Hevi Shot choke and was getting 100+- in a 10" circle at 40 yards.

Deep Clean and Polish your barrel. Best thing to do.
