Hey Ya'll,

let start by apologizing if this is a topic that has been previously discussed alot  :deadhorse:

I did search the forum but haven't found exactly the answer I'm looking for.  I'm thinking of buying a custom pot call and was wondering if any of you have a particular favorite that the Gobbler's just can't resist.  I've read some interesting posts about Lights Out Calls (probably aluminum) and that's what I'm leaning towards but wanted to make sure that there wasn't another one out there that you would consider your "secret weapon" before making my purchase.

Thanks in advance for your input!!

Hook's Assassin Bronze Glass is my favorite in the woods and on the competition stage.

Secret weapons change daily in the turkey woods. We all have our favorites but even they fail from time to time. It's best to have a variety of calls, learn to use them well and let the gobblers tell you what they want to hear.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.

I start out with slate or bronze glass but if that doesn't work,  anodized aluminum is my secret weapon.  Scoot

This is important information. Variety doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna break the bank, it means you're going to have an arsenal of great calls which will definitely give you the upper hand in the woods. I like ceramic over glass, easy to use great sounding pots.
