Tried to get my friend's first bird and/or my first public land bird this morning. Since I couldn't find him last night, we set up at the edge of a field near the general area where I figured he would roost. After about an hour of complete silence and waiting for him to drop in unannounced, I decided we should try another area. Well, now I have the story that every hunter ends up with, sooner or later. Just as we were packing up the dekes, ol' big boy flies up, up and away from the other side of the hedgerow we were next to. Does anyone know where I can buy about 5 minutes worth of patience?

You just bought it in the experience you just had. Guaranteed to eat at you till you die, but guaranteed to keep you sitting longer on future hunts!!!  :angel9:

Hopefully you'll get him at a later date!!

God Bless,
David B.
