HS strut makes super grip striker chalk has anyone used it or chalked a striker? Can this be used on all slate,glass,aluminum?

I have used it on glass and slate. It works ok.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.

Just buy some Rain Chalk. You can't go wrong with that stuff.

I have chalked strikers alot. I like to sand them better, but chalk will work.

Recently,I bought a ceramic call from xcallmaker(Gadus Calls). Kelly sent chalk for the striker. Haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Also, a wooden striker.. heat treat the tip (this would also change the sound)
