Yesterday morning around 10 a good gobbler snuck in behind me and was walking down a dirt fire break. I had my back against a big pine tree and when I turned my head to see the bird a broke over dead tree was blocking my view.
I basically let my self fall backwards and rotated on to my left shoulder.. I turned the 870 20ga on it's side and as soon as the red circle on the Mueller was on the turkey I squeezed and he flopped.
I don't think I would have this turkey if I was using anything other than a red dot.
This is my second year with the Mueller and it has been great so far. I install a fresh battery at the beginning of the season and I turn it on when I get to the woods and turn it off when I am back to the truck.
If there is any thing I would change, I find the automatic setting too bright for me. I always use manual as I light the reticle just bright enough to see.
