Awesome pattern. I'd like to see what it would do at a taped 50. As we all know some shots are often farther than you think.  A shot over 40yds is common and it woul be good to know your patterns effectiveness out to 50.

Not on OG. Shannon doesn't allow talk of over 40 yards. This policy is explained in the THOU SHALL sticky.

Just shoot it at 50yds & call it 40 !

What load is that. 454 is way too tight for most of Hal's loads. I shoot the 2oz #9s and 335 is as tight as I dare. You may need to open it up a bit by going .670-.675.

I've got to agree, way too tight for me, finishing gun or whatever. Finishing birds often means moving birds. It's a lot easier to hit a moving bird with a solid 20" pattern than it is a 10" pattern. To me, that is the beauty of TSS. Certainly, the core will hold together way out there, but there is enough shot to saturate the 20" as well. I'd be looking at .675-.690.
