goin on our annual hunt around the van buren poplar bluff area. gonna be up there the first week of season. whats the birds doin up there? thanks

I live in north missouri and it seems south mo is always a week or so ahead of us.last couple days had lots of gobblin on the roost and when they hit the ground,seem to be several gobblers by themselves.seeing lots of lone single hens also.thinking maybe hens are nesting and the boys are gettin lonely...............
