Went out to some public ground yesterday. Find some birds gobbling up on the one ridge. Ended up sitting up on them about 60yrds away. Didnt mean to get that close thought we're about 100-125yrds away until we had the blind and decoys about set and some started gobbling alot closer. Shooting time was 6:31 and by 6:45 we had 4 jakes at the decoy. A buddy decided to take one with bullhead broadhead at 9yrds. I got video from my phone.
We still had some birds gobbling down from us 500-600yrds away. So we picked up everything and moved up the ridge 300yrds. They gobbled off and on but wouldnt move alittle before noon we had some hens come by. Around 12:30 heard some gobbling getting closer. So at 12:50 we had 2 toms coming at the decoys. Then I let my bullhead eat.
So 6hrs later and 300yrds apart we both came out with birds.
