If turkey season ended tomorrow.....

I guess I'd say its been pretty good. I have hunted the past 6 days and heard at least two birds every day and had the chance to shoot a nice bird. I was sitting in the woods late this afternoon wanting to hear one and i have to say I'm thankful I've been able to hunt the past week. But........ I still got two birds left and over a month left so lets not think about turkey season ending just yet.

I'll be back after them in the morning before  canyonhunter kills all the birds in GA!  
He has been wearing them out!

Who's season is starting up next? I hope I can add a bigger bird to the board. Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Those South Carolina boys are scheming the demise of several long beards turkeys in a couple of day. I bet Canyonhunter left you a couple to hunt

Looks like work is going to keep me out of the woods until Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I'm off all next week, maybe #3 will slip up and get shot. The first week of April is always great in our club.

If it ended tomorrow I would call mine a success. My son got his first bird (best hunt of the year)youth weekend, Davisd9 and myself each busted one opening weekend. I've been in the birds every hunt, but one morning. Last weekend I didn't kill, but saw a nice tom at 45 yards and had the safety off on two birds that were inside of 40 yards. It would be a little disappointing, because I've yet to hunt as many days as I've scouted. This weekend I can only hunt Saturday until about 1:00 then have to head home for a social event. Next week is Easter, so I'll be home after hunting Saturday morning.

Again, good luck to all the SC guys on their opener. I know their homework has been done and they are in good position to drop a few. Also, I've got a feeling that Bustabeak and Canyonhunter are going to pop another each before Easter and any day now Boomer should have a big ol Nebraska bird on the board. Still think bow kills should get bonus points.
