If it ended tomorrow I would call mine a success. My son got his first bird (best hunt of the year)youth weekend, Davisd9 and myself each busted one opening weekend. I've been in the birds every hunt, but one morning. Last weekend I didn't kill, but saw a nice tom at 45 yards and had the safety off on two birds that were inside of 40 yards. It would be a little disappointing, because I've yet to hunt as many days as I've scouted. This weekend I can only hunt Saturday until about 1:00 then have to head home for a social event. Next week is Easter, so I'll be home after hunting Saturday morning.
Again, good luck to all the SC guys on their opener. I know their homework has been done and they are in good position to drop a few. Also, I've got a feeling that Bustabeak and Canyonhunter are going to pop another each before Easter and any day now Boomer should have a big ol Nebraska bird on the board. Still think bow kills should get bonus points.
