Ok, guys, here it is.
I'm a terrible red dot style shooter. I don't know why, but I have shot guns under some of the finest red dots in the industry, and they just give me fits.
Well, I chatted with Mart at Burris, and he suggested the TAC30 scope. It has the circle with the dot in the center, giving the shooter the feel of a "ghost ring." The scope also has 1-4 magnification, and 4" of eye relief.
So I mounted it up with a set of Burris tactical rings, and BANG! I was sighted in at 40 with 2 shots after my initial sighting in with low brass at 10.
This is a fantastic scope, and I have made my peace with scopes. Obviously I need one, and it makes my sighting in and hunting experience much more pleasurable.
Just want to give a big shout-out to Mart at Burris for helping get me into a scope that works for me! He's a true gentleman, and an all around good guy!
Here's my 835 topped with my scope:

looks awesome! I like the dark earth optic on a camo gun!

Cool setup. Finding what works for you is what it is all about.  I could have used some magnification the other day. I fixed my brothers problem with a red dot but a scope would have been the next step.

Very nice Mike and you are correct about Mart being a super nice and helpful guy. I was thinking about getting the TAC30 for my AR.

I think you will like it on your AR Al. It's an AWSOME scope! For the AR though, I would go with the MTAC30 vs. the Fullfield TAC30. Better reticle for a tactical rifle.

Glad you found one that works for you that is the hard part. Good looking combo there!!

Wow that does look nice!  Awesome.  My son is using the same scope and loves it for turkeys.

One quick correction though.  The MTAC and TAC30 use the same reticle.  The illumination switch, knobs, and magnification ring are different.

Gotcha Mart. Thanks for the clarification. I had the MTAC and the XTR-14 switched up. My bad.
