Back in Dec. of 2003 I fell from a tree while deer hunting. Spent 3 weeks in the hosp,3 months in a body cast, and 6 months in therapy. I almost lost my leg,but by the grace of God the Drs. were able to save it. When it came time to leave the hosp.the nurse brought me a bag with my belongings. Since my injuries were so severe everything I was wearing had to be cut off right there in the woods, including my left boot. Well the bag contained only one boot. I asked the nurse "now what am I suppose to do with one boot"Her reply really humbled me and rocked my world. She said" Give it to the Veteran Hosp. next door. "Wow ,I still tear up when I think about that. All really did give some. I contacted the hosp. and spoke with the coordinator for Vets volunteer services and decided to do a sock drive. I launched "Project S.O.C.K."  Showing Our Christian Kindness at my church this past Sunday. I asked the congregation to bring in one pair of new white socks each Sunday from now until Memorial day. I have set a personal goal of 1000 pairs. I want to really blow their minds. I am not asking for donations from my OG family but I am asking that perhaps you could do something similar for the hospitalized vets in your are. Please pray for project S.O.C.K. Thank you.

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
If attacked by a mob of clowns, go for the juggler.

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper; his hands remember the rifle.

Just so you know they also need boxers (any color) and white t shirts all sizes. Thank you.
