Gobbling on a call has been around for a long time, but most hunters don't like to use it for one reason or another. It is a very effective way to call birds in, early in the season when the Toms are all pent up with the need to breed and the hens aren't ready yet so they go back to beating on each other for dominance. It works great early and late in the seasons when the Toms are starting to roam around looking for any left over hens. A kee kee is another great call to use if you don't like gobbling, because a lot of jakes still haven't learned to gobble right yet.
