Indian Creek choke question...?

i have an indian creek black diamond strike and when you look through the back of that choke held up to the light there is 4 rings in there to help with the wad has anybody noticed that the edges on those rings start to round a bit now i will say that i think the choke shoots better now than when it was new but are these rings now doing there job anybody else experience this...?

I have noticed that in mine as well.  I actually emailed Indian Creek about it because it was right during the peak of the problem with their tubes splitting, so I was just being extra careful that I wasn't having an issue.  They emailed right back and said it was perfectly normal.

Tungsten based shot is very hard, and it's natural for those hard pellets to somewhat round off those square edges inside the Indian Creek chokes (or any choke with wad stopper rings for that matter).

Also, most chokes will shoot better as they get some shells put through them.     Their interiors smooth out and will typically deliver better patterns as they wear-in.

Yes. As long as you can see a ring, it's doing it's job. If you stop seeing rings, then i'd start worrying.

its kinda like the edge of the ring is smoothing over towards the front of the choke like that edge is wearing away looks real shiney there i duno ...?

Perfectly normal.  Hard tungsten based shot will do that.  Most of my chokes shoot better now than they did when I bought them.  As a choke is used, it smooths out and settles in for lack of a better term.
