Was wondering anyones thoughts on the Fiocchi Golden Pheasant loads?  My oldest son is 9 and he has a Rossi 20 gauge that has a fixed Mod. choke, we have patterned it to 25 yrds. and that is the effective range for the Rem Nitro 3" 5's we ran thru it.  I really would like to find a load with a little less recoil to build his confidence up and maybe push his max range to 30-35 yards.  I know the Fiocchi loads are nickel plated and I would think they would be effective as a turkey load.  Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about trying the Fed Heavyweight 2 3/4 7's ?

I was considering them as well.  Just thought if the Fiocchis didn't work out we could use the remainder as a squirrel load this fall.
