anyone have any experience with this gun, would like to know the pros and cons, and what choke and shell combo you had good luck with.  :thanks: :cross2:

I use the Mossy tac. turkey with a pure gold .670 choke and get best results with hevi 13 3.5 in. 2.25 oz. 6s
I love everything about this shotgun.....short barrel, adjustable stock...patterns very well out to 40 yds

Cons?.....I dont have any
I just put a Nikon turkey pro scope on it and cant wait for spring to give that a shot
Sometimes...all a man has left is his dog.....

I don't have the tactical version, but I do have a short bbl 835 with an IC .670 choke and shooting Hevi-13 3" 2 oz #6 puts out a mean pattern at 40 yds. :fud:

The 835's I've looked at lately feel and look really cheap. Has the quality went down in the last year or so? The one I looked at had a vet shaky fore end, spotty camo finish, and felt like the pistol grip came off a kids toy.

I remember looking at these about 5 yrs ago and thinking that this was the cats meow. Now, I'm thinking different. Anyone else notice this?
