I have read a lot about deep cleaning a shotgun on this and other web sites, and recently cleaned my relatively new Moss 535. The procedure i used was from the allaboutshooting website. It seemed like a pretty quick and easy procedure, so it has left me thinking that maybe i am missing something. Does deep cleaning mean POLISHING your barrel also? The polishing procedure as detailed in this web site looks very involved! I know it certainly wouldn't hurt anything to polish a barrel (unless i made a mistake with the drill), but do most of you guys polish to get fantastic patterns?

My bad. Didn't know the search button existed. Should have known though.

It's all good.  There are also stickys at the top of the forum that will describe in detail how to both super clean AND pollish your shotty's barrel.
