The front bead attachement on most Remington and Mosbergs is either threaded or pressed in.

The challenge is determinig which one is which!

Most of the higher priced gun indeed do have threaded front beads.

Thanks.  This would be for an 11-87 and I can guarantee you that mine will be whichever is most difficult to remove and the easiest to screw up during the removal process.

Update on the limb saver dead center! Awesome sights! Easy to install, very bright, and for $24 shipped from eBay! Patterned my 835 last week and these sights are very sturdy, I shot 7 3.5 shells, and probably 15 3 inch shells! Has windage and elevation adjustment! If you want a bead these are perfect! Thanks
